Terms of Service

These are the terms on which we're offering the CricMotion beta. By signing up you agree to them. Plain English; no lawyer tricks.

1. What CricMotion does

CricMotion analyses cricket bowling (and soon batting) videos you upload and returns biomechanics metrics, visualisations, and coaching cues. The analysis is automated. We do our best to be accurate, but our reports are assistive, not definitive.

2. Not a medical or coaching substitute

Our reports flag movement patterns that are associated with injury risk or technical weakness in the published biomechanics research we cite — but we are not doctors, physiotherapists, or registered coaches. Measurements have a typical uncertainty of ±5°. If you or a player in your care have pain, symptoms, or concerns, please see a qualified professional.

4. Your content

5. Acceptable use

Don't upload illegal, abusive, or copyrighted footage you don't own. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it for anything other than the cricketer in the video. Accounts that abuse the service will be suspended.

6. Accuracy and reliability

We work hard on accuracy but this is software and the model can get things wrong. CricMotion is provided "as is" with no warranty. Our liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the fees you have paid us — zero, during the free beta.

7. Termination

You can delete your account any time by emailing hello@cricmotion.com. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Governing law

Indian law applies. Disputes will be handled in the courts of the state where CricMotion is registered once our legal entity is formed; until then, please write to us first — most issues are solvable with a reply.
