CricMotion ("we", "us") operates cricmotion.com and app.cricmotion.com. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We are committed to complying with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What we collect

• Account details: name, email, bcrypt-hashed password.
• Uploaded videos: used only to compute biomechanics. Raw video is deleted immediately after processing under our skeleton-first storage design.
• Derived skeleton data: a small file of per-frame joint coordinates (~50 KB) and computed metrics. This is what we retain so you can revisit reports.
• Usage metadata: analysis counts, timestamps, and basic server logs for security and debugging.

2. What we do not collect

• Facial recognition data — faces in videos are masked during processing.
• Payment information — not applicable during the free beta.
• Third-party analytics cookies on app.cricmotion.com — none.

3. Children's data

Many users are parents or coaches analysing a minor's technique. We do not sell or share any data, we never display identifying information in our sample reports, and raw video is deleted within minutes of upload. If you believe a minor's data needs to be removed, email hello@cricmotion.com and we will delete it within 7 days.

4. Who we share data with

• Nobody, for now. No third-party analytics, no advertisers.
• When we add payments (post-beta), Razorpay will handle card/UPI details — we never see them.
• We may disclose data if compelled by law or to prevent fraud / abuse of the service.

5. Where data is stored

AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai). Database backups, if taken, are kept in the same region. We do not transfer data outside India without your consent.

6. Retention

• Raw uploaded video — deleted after processing (typically within minutes).
• Skeleton data and metrics — retained for the life of your account, or until you request deletion.
• Account row — retained until you request deletion.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing hello@cricmotion.com. We respond within 7 business days.
